HPS's novella, "Mandatory Counseling" is now available.

Published on May 2, 2026 by Black Hare Press (Australia), the novella is short read (around 85 pages) and is told entirely by means of the collected reports written by a demon who has been forced by Hell's HR Department to undertake mandatory counseling sessions after a mission goes sideways on Earth.

Hopefully, it has a message (even as it tries not to preach: art should be art for art's sake!); and fans of HPS' work in social-political philosophy, and especially his Anarchic Phenomenological Communitarianism Manifesto, will find the heart of communitarian anarchism beating in the work...still beating in a bloody, disembodied, horrific, yet humorous way.
